Privacy Policy & Data Security
Last updated: October 2026 • Applies to all tools across PixelKit Studio
Your Files Never Leave Your Device
PixelKit Studio is architected from the ground up as a purely client-side web application. All image scaling, PDF compiling, OCR neural text extraction, background removal, and compression algorithms execute inside your local browser via WebAssembly and HTML5 Canvas APIs.
1. File Storage & Server Transmission
We do not possess a backend file storage cluster, database, or upload server. When you drag and drop a file into any PixelKit Studio tool, the file is read into your computer's RAM (Random Access Memory) as a Blob or ArrayBuffer.
Once you download the finished result or close the tab, the memory is immediately cleared and garbage-collected by your browser.
2. Open-Source Client Libraries
We utilize trusted, peer-reviewed open-source web technologies for local execution:
- pdf-lib (In-memory PDF generation and merging)
- pdfjs-dist (Canvas-based PDF page rendering)
- tesseract.js (WASM OCR engine for local text recognition)
- jszip (In-browser ZIP file creation)
3. Analytics & Telemetry
We do not collect file names, file contents, image metadata, personal identity documents, or OCR text strings. Any anonymous telemetry is limited to general page visit statistics to improve platform performance.
